In September Shabang will be launching a new digital project. “Shabang Time” is our new Live YouTube session especially for inclusive education settings. This service will be free of charge and open to any school who would like to participate.
The session will be thirty minutes long, starting at 11am every Wednesday from Wednesday 9 September 2020 on Shabang’s YouTube channel, please follow the link and subscribe to this – https://bit.ly/shabangtimetv
Your hosts will be Dot & Bernard – broadcasting from their wonderfully welcoming workshop where just about anything can happen.
Each session will feature original songs from Shabang’s vast repertoire – songs especially designed to be signed and used in special education classrooms.
– a greeting song
– an energising routine guaranteed to get you moving
– a song reflecting a theme (a new theme each half term)
– a calming song
– a farewell song
We will also be giving ideas for tasks and art projects.
You will also be able to download additional ideas from our website for free – www.shabang.org.uk – and the themes for each session will be available in advance to help with planning.
This is a new venture for us – a response to Covid-19 and the limitations around live theatre which is our usual trade. Shabang has been designing and delivering creative projects in special education settings for over 20 years.
If you are interested please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to register for more details and to gain access to the free resource sheets. Please feel free to pass on and share these details and flyer with anyone who you think may be interested.
