We attended the TES North Resources Exhibiton at GMEX in Manchester on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 April 2012. We promoted our book "The Whole Shabang! Volume One" and would like to thank all the people visitors and exhibitors who were supportive and friendly. Here we are , giving into gravity after two full days on our feet!

New Events for Spring/Summer 2012

       Stargazers b & w

 

We are very excited to be starting a new programme of family friendly events for 2012 at The Watershed funded by the Big Lottery.

 

We start our adventure with a series of four Family Clubs which will run as follows:-

 

Day Dreamers Family Club

Saturdays 10.30 am - 1 pm

 If your family has a child on the autistic spectrum under 14 years

Dates = 28 April, 26 May, 23 June & 21 July 2012

 

Dream Catchers Family Club

Sundays 2 pm - 4.30 pm

If your family has a child with additional needs under 14 years

Dates = 29 April, 27 May, 24 June & 22 July 2012

 

Siblings are really welcome to come along too! The events are FREE.

 

The clubs are very popular and you MUST register as numbers are limited. You can do this by contacting Kim or Russ on 01484 848073 to reserve your place!

 

We will also be running our equally popular training course:-

 

Brain Boosters

Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 July 2012 10 am - 3 pm

A weekend course run by Jill Wallis for families with additional needs to help enhance your child's learning potential using simple movement techniques you can do at home or school.

A twice weekly free session for pre-school children with an additional need and their parents/carers

The Up Club 

A weekly drama club for children with Down syndrome.

The Up Club is funded by Awards for All and will run in term time, September 2011 to July 2012. Sessions run on Mondays from 5 - 6.30 pm at The Watershed, you are welcome to come earlier to socialise and eat your packed tea.
